Indochino Review 3

As promised here are some shots of my finished Indochino suit. The suit model is the CHARCOAL GRAY PERFORMANCE SUIT It looks SO much better in real life. And for some reason I look a lot bigger in these shots. The suit is actually very slimming without being tight and uncomfortable. It seems to flow effortlessly with every move I make and the fabric quality is amazing to the touch. Check out the photos and judge for yourself:

Ralph Lauren Classic Chino Coat

Shop It To Me sent me some sale alerts and this chino coat caught my eye. It’s on sale from Ralph Lauren for $179.99 which is, I think, quite a good price for this. If you can find some flat fronts in the same color you’ve got yourself an excellent spring/summer suit.

The NXNW Suit – A Wonderful Obsession

I’ve mentioned Cary Grant several times before on this blog  and found an interesting article to share about the suit he wore in the classic film NORTH BY NORTHWEST. I don’t know what it is about the piece he is wearing but the article does a great job of explaining it’s origins.

JCrew Aldridge Suit

I’m going a bit above my under $500 for a suit rule on this one but only by a slim margin. The new JCrew Aldridge three button suit is a nice looking piece of cloth and clocks in at $540 on the pricing meter.  That’s not bad for an off the rack made from Italian spun four season wool. What I don’t get is the “bespoke inspired” part of the description because immediately following that claim is the term “non functional buttons”. Kind of an oxymoron, yeah?

LP Record Box – Urban Outfitters

Being a huge fan of LP’s (I have hundreds that I have to convert to MP3s) this little box from Urban Outfitters struck my fancy as they are actually made from LPs themselves. At $28 it would make a great option for storing your watches, pocket squares, and tie bars.
