JCrew Aldridge Suit
I’m going a bit above my under $500 for a suit rule on this one but only by a slim margin. The new JCrew Aldridge three button suit is a nice looking piece of cloth and clocks in at $540 on the pricing meter. That’s not bad for an off the rack made from Italian spun four season wool. What I don’t get is the “bespoke inspired” part of the description because immediately following that claim is the term “non functional buttons”. Kind of an oxymoron, yeah?

That is a great looking suit and the choices of shoes and belt are perfect. I like Jcrew suits but i can never buy because im too small and short (5’7 and 120lbs with a 34 chest). Cant wait to see the Indochino suit pics.
Hey Ron,
Yeah, it’s really nice. I can’t take credit for that photo, though. It’s a JCREW stock image. I don’t own the suit or the shoes, belt, etc.
With your frame and weight you could get a decent suit from H&M that would probably fit really well.
I’m going to get the Indochino photos up hopefully tonight or over the weekend. Either way, I love the suit and got nothing but compliments on it.
All the best,
Dennis
You don’t want the functional button holes in a ready-made suit because if you need to have any sleeve alteration done, the two sleeves would look uneven. Keep in mind when you alter the sleeves, it is based on the tip of your thumb, not necessarily the inseam of the sleeves.
