Fall Suiting
I don’t know about you guys but I can’t wait until the summer is over. It’s not that I don’t enjoy days spent in the sun and nights at Coney Island, but I find summer clothing a bit boring. I am not as hardcore as most and refuse to sweat through my suits for the sake of wearing one which is why I started to anticipate what to put together for some fall color combinations and styles.
One thing I will be investing in are new shoes. Stay tuned for that venture soon.
Here are some color combinations I will be favoring this season:

Indochino Suit: $300, Indochino Shirt: 3 for $199, Tie $1 @ Salvation Army, Pocket Square JC Penney $15 for a box

Indochino Three Piece Suit: $379, Indochino Shirt: 3 for $199, Tie by Brooks Brothers, Pocket Square JC Penney: $8

I always favor your suit posts/reviews the most and it’s nice to see you’re face more in your pics. Nice job.
Thanks, Patrick, for the positive and honest feedback!
There will be a lot more of these suit/clothing idea posts with my mug in them coming up. Summer is a bit slow clothing wise for me. I more enjoy fall/winter clothing but I have to get used to covering all angles.
And yes, I finally got over being camera shy. My gym regimen has helped that tremendously.
All the best,

I really like the grey suit/ tie combo, looks really good. Now I need to find a tie like that. About half of the ties I own have come from thrift stores.
Thanks, Dave. I always find the best ties with the most character at Salvation Army and Goodwill. Those two places are a treasure trove for neck wear.
All the best,

There really is no substitute for vintage neck wear. My grandfather gave me a bunch of ties and scarves from the 40s/50s/60s and that’s all I wear. There’s nothing like a vintage Brooks Brothers. They just don’t make them like they used to. And then there’s the swagger that comes with knowing you have on a classic tie and waiting for someone to ask you about it.
Kyle, I cannot agree with you more. The simple fact that these items have LASTED this long is a statement.
All the best,
Dennis Cahlo
