Menswear Cinema: “The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly”
Every young boys dream is to be a bad ass cowboy. At least, it was one of mine when I was a wee lad.
This past weekend I watched “The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly” and got to thinking that some of the clothing Clint and Company rocked in the film could definitely make it into some fall /winter wardrobe ideas. What I love the most are the long coats and vest/denim combinations.
Since I am going with a more muted palette this fall and winter, I thought this the perfect Menswear Cinema to share with you guys.
Enjoy.

Hey Dennis.
For a good example of menswear in England check out both “Jeeves and Wooster” with Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry and “Sherlock Holmes” with Jeremy Brett. Wooster and Jeeves will make you want a 1.5 Litre Aston Martin Le Mans and Sherlock Holmes will make you wish mourning coats and walking sticks come back into fashion.
Hey Erik!!
I actually did a post a while back on the blog about Jeeves and Wooster!! I love that show and the menswear and tailoring is amazing.
Thanks for the tips!

That show made me want to steal policemen’s hats and flee in an Aston Martin.
HAHAHAHA! TOTALLY!
I live in the American West and get a great many of my clothes from here: http://www.oldfrontier.com/
Not exactly “bad ass”, I know, but “Tombstone” is part of “Menswear Cinema”, too, no?
