Winter In Medora

Hey guys,

My updates have slowed down partly due to the fact that I have been writing, recording, mixing, and mastering my first solo album entitled “Winter In Medora”.

I have been working on it for about 3 months and am very excited for you to hear it. Once I have set up my website, I will be offering the entire album as a free download which will include 256k MP3s and full CD artwork. For those of you just dying to give me your money, it will also be available on Itunes and a bunch of other online outlets.

The release is set for 11.1.09 but for now, below is a picture of the artwork and a link to my FACEBOOK ARTISTS page which has 4 tracks from the album in the MUSIC section.

Have a great weekend! I’ll be back to menswear on Monday.

  1. Wow, dude, you have an awesome voice. That’s you hitting all those high notes..? Just got through listening to ‘I won’t fall’. There’s something ethereal about your music. Keep it up.

Where did you come up with the title for the song? I spent my entire childhood and teen years in Medora, ND and stumbled upong your blog while doing a search on “Medora.” Did you spend a winter in Medora? The song certainly makes me feel like I did many days back then peering out the window watching the snow fall on an already endless white landscape. I like the sound!

    • Hi JD,

Thank you so very much for your lovely comment. I spent Christmas in Medora with my ex a while back and I wrote this album about our breakup. We had some really sweet moments in Medora and it just stuck with me.

I’m very glad that the music conjures up such feelings in you as that’s exactly what I wanted it to sound like.

You can download the entire album for free at http://www.denniscahlo.com

My thanks again. You make me want to keep writing music.
