Dennis, Michael, allow me to add my name to the fray. I mean, you have to have an extra, extra, for an avid South African reader…?
Dennis, I must say I like the combination. Are you just like me..? In the sense that you almost only complement a jacket with a double cuff shirt..? I like the jacket too. I have one by Pierre Cardin, I just bought a week ago and can’t wait to get going in it because it’s Double breasted with gold buttons. Next to grey, navy blue is my next favourite colour.
South Africa! Wow…I am so psyched and honored this blog has readers all over the world!!
Yes, I am a tremendous fan of the French Cuff. I have a few barrel cuffs but the French Cuff dominates my shirt sleeves. There is something very elegant about it that I cannot sway from.
That double breasted Pierre Cardin with gold buttons sound HOT. Did you know that 5 years ago I would wear a beautiful DB blazer that everyone said would never come back in style? I feel this is a prime example of always going with your gut instinct.
Best,
