Spring Socks 2010

After getting rid of all my used and abused socks I ended up with a shortage of light and colorful spring options.

On another shopping jaunt at Target for the apartment renovations, I spotted some great options by Merona for only $2.99 a pair. Below are just a few I’ll be adding to the arsenal this spring.

Merona socks: $2.99 a pair.

Nice socks indeed. If I may make a suggestion, Turkey-based Viccel supplies very good quality socks for a sweet price. They can be found at viccel.com.

By the way, I only just found out about your music. I downloaded the free cd from your other website and I was pleasantly surprised! You have a great voice. I forwarded your website to some dj’s here in The Netherlands.
I will keep track of your other site as well. You might want to put forward your music on MtMNY as well, it was sheer luck I saw your name in the Blogroll on the right.

    Regards,
    Nick

    • Nick,

Thank you so much for the sock suggestion! I will most definitely check them out.

On to the music: I AM SO GRATEFUL YOU PASSED ALONG MY SONGS!!! Honestly, it’s a wonderful feeling when someone enjoys it.

I’ve almost all but given up on promoting myself as a musician as I seem to have generated more interest in what I wear everyday as opposed to what I record everyday. I was a struggling musician until about two years ago when I started my own home business writing and recording for film and commercials. It’s still a slow climb but I enjoy the work when I get it.

I’ve tried putting my music up here before. When I come up with something new I will be sure to let everyone know.

      Thanks again!!!
      Dennis

  3. If your music ends up in The Netherlands it only get better. I just lack the words to articulate what I want to say to you. One of my favourite producers is from The Netherlands. So they will definitely add nice touch to your sound.

  4. Dennis, if it is your passion then by all means keep on keeping on brother. You of all people know how the music industry is nowadays. You really have to start small, especially if you don’t have a machine driving your everything.

So keep making them records and we’ll be sure to support.

    • M., thank you so much for the encouraging words. I don’t think I will ever stop making music. I just gave up on it as a career.

      Take care,
      Dennis

I’ve gotten some great accessories from Target over the years. Socks, cotton pocket squares, tie clip. Their argyle socks don’t hold up as nice, fair warning, but then again they were less than the cost of lunch!

    • Thanks for the comment, James.

I totally agree with you that they don’t hold up as long as most socks but for the money, they are a great buy.

Target’s also great for swim trunks, too. They really did a great thing with the inception of the Merona brand.

      Take care,
      Dennis
