Great looking suit. I just ordered the Tasmanian wool suits from Uniqlo. I'm between a 34 and 33 waist in pants normally and they didnt have any 34's so I had to go with 33's. How do the pants from uniqlo normally fit? Am I going to be pushing it going down a waist in your opinion?

Thanks!

Thank you, sir. I'm glad to be back.

I only recently purchased this watch so the only way for me to really test it's strength over time is to continually wear it. I have an excellent watch repairman here in Brooklyn who can fix anything and, more often than not, make the mechanics of a watch run even stronger if they go to shit.

So with whatever parts are inside of a time piece, I think one of the best investments is a really good watch repairman.

Thanks,
Dennis

Dennis, great to see you posting again! I have been thinking about Invicta watches for a while now, they are certainly inexpensive, but how do they stand the test of time? I read several reviews that were rather negative, but I guess for 90 bucks it is worth the risk.

I personally got myself a Magrette watch a while ago. Magrette is a great company from New Zealand, their watches often have strong resemblance to Panerai, which I adore. Magrette uses the Miyota too, but I have found it to be very reliable and accurate so far. Price is around 450$ for Regattare model the one I got, it's worth checking it out!

I agree with you on the Japanese movement. It's really not bad at all. Only thing I really hate is the Invicta branding on the left side of the case. If they removed that entirely it would really make the watch something special.

I'm wearing this watch right now. I'm sporting the silver bracelet at the moment, but I've also got the black NATO strap. It takes a little practice and the watch tool to swap the bands, but it's doable.

I dig the style and the Japanese movement has been very reliable so far. Mine gains about :05 a day, which I can deal with at this price point.
